Spain also produces a range of regional liqueurs, each of which has its own special character and tradition, and is enjoyed at various times of the day. For instance, you might want to try a Café licor d’Alcoy; a coffee liqueur from Alicante, or the Ibiza-produced Hierbas ibicenas; a herby liqueur that is commonly consumed as a digestif. In fact, it is estimated that one in every 10 alcoholic beers produced in the EU is made in Spain.
